Tickets to Powerchair Football's Celebration
05th October 2015
In August this year we at Mark Bates Ltd were delighted to announce we had signed a sponsorship contract with Jon Bolding, captain of the England powerchair football team. This year the Wheelchair Football Association will be celebrating ten years of this wonderful sport and as part of our ongoing commitment to and support for powerchair football we would like to give you and your partner a chance to join the party.
The event will take place on Friday 30 October 2015 at St George’s Park Hotel, Newborough Road, Needwood, Burton Upon Trent, DE13 9PD starting at 19.30 onwards.
St George’s Park is the new home of English Football so is the perfect place to house the event. The evening will be start with a drinks reception followed by a three course fine dining meal and wine. There will also be entertainment including a celebration of the history of powerchair football and sport in general, high end sports memorabilia on display for silent auction and guest speakers from the world of disabled and mainstream sport.
We have two sets of couples tickets to give away so if you and your partner would like to attend this prestigious event please fill in your full name and email address below by 6PM Friday 9th October 2015. All names and addresses received will be entered into a random draw on Monday 12th October 2015 and the two lucky prize winners will be notified by email shortly after.
Unfortunately we have had to close this giveaway due to circumstances out of our control.
Below is a prepared statement from the WFA who were organising the event.
“It is with regret that the WFA Executive has taken the difficult decision to cancel the 10 Year Celebration event. This was due to a number of various factors outside of our control. Given a low number of confirmed ticket sales, failure to secure an event sponsor and limited resources, the celebration event became unfeasible. We are hoping to arrange an event in the future to celebrate reaching this milestone and we thank everyone who has helped and supported us on the journey so far.”
Please accept our apologies for any disappointment this may have caused.
