London Self-Directed Support

Premier Care are delighted to announce our sponsorship of the London Self Directed Support (SDS) Forum.

Active for nearly 20 years, since Direct Payments (DP) were first introduced, the aims and objectives of the SDS Forum are:

London Self-Directed Support
  • To spread and share best practice among England’s and primarily London’s direct payment support services, support planners, brokers and self-directed support staff in local authorities as well as in the voluntary and independent sectors.
  • To support the take-up of self-directed support throughout London and nationally by encouraging and developing professional excellence in its members.
  • To support the development of genuine routes to independence for all recipients of self-directed support in the 33 London boroughs and nationally, through open and honest cooperation of its members.
  • To strive to be an independent voice in the field nationally, accurately reflecting the reality of the provision of self-directed support in London and nationally by means of conferences, training events, surveys and reports.

Premier Care have a history of providing innovative solutions to meet the unique insurance requirements of Direct Payment employers. We aim to provide our customers with quality insurance cover, value for money and exceptional levels of support. We support the aims of the SDS Forum and look forward to working with them to support their work.

As a result of the sponsorship agreement we will be attending future SDS Forum meetings to provide relevant updates around employment law and insurance.
