Rise 4 Disability Show 2019

During 2019 we have made it our mission to engage with our customers and partners on a deeper level. What better way to do this than at conversations and shows that boost interaction amongst individuals and organisation that purchase our products. For the first time, we travelled down to the Kent Event Centre for Rise 4 Disability, and despite the terrible weather, we loved every minute of it.

DSC00022.jpgRISE is the most comprehensive regional disability exhibition & conference within the UK and attracts around 1600 delegates. The team works closely with the KCC Disability Services Team to make sure the event is jam-packed with therapists and professionals to provide the most relevant and up to date information available. The day included lots of exhibitors, a full conference program and a networking event the evening before.

DSC00014.jpgDuring the day we met hundreds of our customers and made many new friends as well as eating far too many biscuits. We went with a simple message - "Have you heard of Mark Bates Ltd before". We chose this because although tens of thousands of you have a policy with us, many don't know our name very much. Our products are usually sold through our partner's shops and websites, which means our customer interaction is sometimes minimal. Or so we thought!

It turns out many of you know us very well, and we heard about all of your experiences with us and many glowing reviews. It's so lovely to understand that all of our hard work pays off because we strive to make sure our customers are treated as if they are part of our family. Ensuring our levels of service never falters as we focus on a sector of society where it is most important.

We'd like to know if there are any other shows you would like us to attend, our sales team are always out and about covering the whole of the UK, but there is nothing quite like an event to bring us all together. Thank you so much to the organisers, we had a delightful time, and we've already booked to go back again next year.
