October is a packed month for us with events going on all over the country, but we took the time to travel down to the NEC and attend one of our favourites, The Care Show. This show is always an enjoyable event with a wide range of care providers, suppliers and more than a few surprise exhibitors with innovative products or services.
The Care Show provides expert-led CPD accredited conference sessions, hands-on training, latest solutions and networking opportunities to support those connected to and responsible for providing excellent care for others. Visitors learn and experience more in two days at The Care Show than you would in months from their office. It can often feel like you're too busy to take time out but spending even one day at an event dedicated to helping you find the best solutions will help you to save time through efficiencies in the future.
This year showcased six theatres packed full of speakers meaning there was never a dull moment, we sat down and enjoyed quite a few of the speakers. Our team particularly enjoyed the "Why dementia-friendly design matters" presentation with Sarah Waller CBE and "The transformative power of technology in-home care" with Max Parmentier. The care sector is always at the forefront of pushing forwards and embracing new ideas, and this year technology paid a considerable part in the whole show.
Many companies have developed learning platforms, Cloud-based infrastructure or even artificial intelligence to work out seemingly medial things such as working rotas or visiting times. All to give the best possible care to as many people as possible - something that is at the heart of our company.
Thankfully our job is much easier than many of the care companies out there, our product is simple, and our customers speak for themselves. We offer the most comprehensive cover we can and a reasonable price point. Like the thousands of people attending the Care Show, we also care deeply about the way we provide for our customers and our reviews speak for themselves. Mark Bates Ltd is "the home of Premier Care" for a reason.
