If I choose 3-months free insurance are there any fees to pay?
No. Free insurance means exactly that, it’s completely free!
Please note, however, if you have already had 3-months free insurance on your product you will no longer qualify as this offer is only available once.
If my mobility scooter stops working, how will I get home?
You can either ring our 24/7 national breakdown recovery number or we will reimburse your taxi fare home (terms and conditions apply).
Will my mobility scooter be insured if I go on a holiday?
Provided you store your equipment as advised in our policy wording, our geographical coverage includes anywhere in the UK as well as 90-days worldwide cover (terms and conditions apply).
What are the additional benefits for Plus insurance?

Do I have to pay individually for each benefit I want on my policy?
No, unlike other insurance companies we believe in an ‘all in one’ encompassing policy and want you to be fully covered in the event of a claim.
Can I pay for my policy by monthly direct debit?
Yes, there is a £5 administration charge which is spread over your monthly instalments.
How do I make a claim?
To make a claim call our claims helpline on 01476 514471 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will take care of the rest. We fully appreciate that it is essential to resolve a claim efficiently and effectively.
Is theft or damage covered if my product is unattended?
Unfortunately, there will be no cover if your product is left unattended for more than an hour, unless secured to an immovable object by a padlock and chain. Also, no cover applies if your scooter / powerchair is left for more than 12 hours or overnight, unless kept in a locked building or room within the confines of your private dwelling or a room where you are temporarily residing. Additionally, we will not cover any theft if the starter key has not been removed from the mobility product.
Am I covered for sporting activity in my mobility scooter?
Unfortunately we do not cover your product for sporting activities.
Can I insure my cabin car?
If your scooter is enclosed with doors and a fixed hard outer shell or body, then you will need to take out our Prestige Insurance Policy, as it is classified as a cabin car (subject to terms and conditions). These products do not qualify for 3MF or 15 for 12 policies.
Do I have to pay excess on my cabin car?
Yes – if you have made a claim in the past, you will need to pay a £500 excess. If you have not made a claim, the excess is £250 per claim.
